Sales & Marketing Coordinator - Chicago

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the respective Center Director/Location Manager and is responsible for location-level sales and marketing execution, as well as, providing assistance in the day-to-day operations of the center. Marketing Coordinators also oversee all aspects of location-specific birthday parties (a key source of new leads).
 

Sales & Hospitality:

  • Maintain the highest level of customer service possible at all times in accordance with the NY Kids Club pillars of service
  • Field phone calls, emails, and in-person client requests/questions/tours
  • Seek to build genuine relationships with clients and children
  • Manage client relations challenges if/as they arise

 

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Ensure the location is clean, well-organized and visually presentable for clients each day
  • Ensure outdoor sandwich boards and front-of-store marketing materials are on brand
  • Maintain up-to-date location flyers, postings, TV and bulletin board displays
  • Manage all mass e-mails and mailings to clients
  • Attend up to two assigned NY Kids Club camp, class or promotional events, open houses, fairs, etc. per semester
  • Oversee location promo team activities
  • Build partnerships with local schools to generate interest in after school walk over programs
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, establishing and maintaining a list of drop points for placement of branded collateral
  • Oversee local-level Social Media activities, contributing Facebook and Instagram posts
  • Develop and execute on new ideas for building school enrollment

 

Birthday Coordination:

  • Oversee all aspects of level specific birthday party program coordination
  • Follow up with birthday party attendees ensuring they receive an invitation to return to the NY Kids Club for a complimentary trial class or event

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an environment with or around children a plus
  • Previous sales and marketing experience preferred
  • Self-­‐starter, highly motivated, dynamic and creative team player
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects/assignments
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet communications, as well as, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish is a plus!
  • Good sense of humor
